Overview
Τhe hotel Nick & Ioulia Tsoumani is a complex of autonomous houses which are built with old materials and respect to the architectural style of Zagoria villages. The hotel is located in the village of Papigo at Epirus. It has 10 independent houses. It has also 2 small shops selling gifts and antiques, as well as a restaurant offering local dishes and wine.
We were asked to redesign the website of the hotel which was developed several years ago and did not take care of all the web standards that result in a successful website. Our first goal was to make the site compatible with all browsers and to all screen resolutions. Afterwards we designed the structure of the website so that visitors can quickly and easily find all the information they need for the hotel and the area of Papigo. Finally we wanted to highlight the luxury and tradition of the hotel, using large background images, beautiful typography and various javascript techniques.
